Dipl.-Ing.oec. Michael Schürmann studied industrial engineering at the Technical University of Hamburg-Harburg. He has been working in various functions in supply chain management for more than 13 years. Michael Schürmann has in-depth knowledge of direct and indirect purchasing as well as supply chain operations and planning. Michael has worked in consulting and line functions and knows the working environment in medium-sized hidden champions as well as in large corporations such as Siemens. After managing global indirect procurement, Michael took over responsibility for operations in Körber’s Business Area Supply Chain. Since April 2025, Michael serves as Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) of the Körber Group.
