A graduate of Warsaw University. Slawomir Peter has 28 years of experience in various part of business at IKEA. First 20 years he spends in Purchasing organization, mainly on logistic field. From 2000 Slawomir was responsible as Logistic Manager for Central Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Ukraine). During this time, he was responsible for logistic optimization and operation on this region. In 2013, Slawomir join Business Solution Organization.
On 2019 Supply Chain Development organization was created at IKEA Supply. From this time Slawomir took role of SCD Area Sourcing Manager with responsibility of all systems and processes supporting purchasing and supplier part of business.
Slawomir has been leading the implementation of responsible purchasing as well as a major project to structure and digitalize purchasing processes throughout the IKEA Supply (including Home Furnishing Business, IKEA Components, IKEA Food and IKEA Category Indirect).
