Oliver Hurrey has been getting equally excited and frustrated about sustainable business and responsible supply chains for more than 20 years. He now leads the Champions Program at the Sustainable Procurement Pledge, which aims to help 1 million procurement professionals embed sustainability into their ways of working by 2030 - and believes that it is the moment for procurement to take the lead on creating shared value in supply chains. Oliver also founded the Scope 3 Peer Group, with over 2,500 procurement & sustainability practitioners collaborating together globally on supply chain decarbonisation best practice. He also supports and advises a range of collaborative initiatives in both sustainability and procurement - aiming ultimately to get everyone and everything more coordinated on faster and more confident action.
